Monterra Builders is building a new show home at Hampton Gate in the Crown Isle Golf Community in Courtenay on Vancouver Island.

Construction as part of Phase 1 of Buckstone Development’s latest project The Ridge is continuing to move forward as both Lawmar Contracting and Brando Construction are building custom homes, ranchers and two-storey homes. Centrally located on Vancouver Island, these lots in the Comox Valley are located 45 minutes from Campbell River, 60 minutes to Nanaimo, and 2.5 hours to Victoria.

The Ridge at RiversEdge, the only new home development in Courtenay that is located alongside along the Puntledge River, adjacent to Puntledge Park is seeing more new homes. Four more new homes are under construction in Phase III of this project and will be completed in the next few months.
Four more units will be built in early 2015 which will complete this phase of the project. Sixteen of the 24 new single family homes, built by Southwind Developments Corporation in Phase III of Rivers Edge have been sold.
These single family residential homes are situated in a bare land strata plan and feature landscaping, underground sprinklers, fencing and hedging. The homes in this development are one level ranchers ranging in size from 1,450 to 1,677 square feet. Prices range from $349,900 to $359,900. These new homes consist of single-family homes and ranchers with double garages.
RiversEdge developer Southwind Development Corp. has been building new homes in this new neighbourhood for the past three years and have been building new homes for the past 30 years.

Jason Andrew, Director of Real Estate at Crown Isle, has told 1stView that activity has really picked up in the sales of residential lots, new custom homes and existing homes in Crown Isle. Currently, Crown Isle Homes Ltd., a sister company to Crown Isle Resort has numerous homes under construction, with more to come. Also building new homes in Crown Isle are Benco Ventures and Monterra Builders.

Construction is well underway on Phase I of Monterra Builders' luxury patio homes at The Grove. The first phase consists of four new patio homes for sale, ranging in size from 1,413 to 1,621 square feet. A total of 18 homes will be built as part this project.
These new homes in the Crown Isle Resort Community in Courtenay are priced from $405,000 to $415,000. Five homes have been sold and six homes are reserved, which leaves only 7 homes left to choose from!

Construction is underway on many new homes in Hampton Gate, the first gated single-family development in Crown Isle. Crown Isle Homes is building four new homes and an additional 6 lots have been sold within Hampton Gate. A total of ten new homes are either built or under construction.
The average lot size is between 7,500 and 8,000 square feet and the prices of the remaining lots range from $185,000 (off the fairway) up to $260,000 for fairway lots.

The 25 new home lots along the extension of Crown Isle Drive are now registered and 11 of the lots are sold and 2 are reserved.
Construction is underway on three homes and three more are set to start construction within the next month. Benco Homes has their new showhome under construction on Lot Q on the fairway.
Twelve new home lots are located off the golf course and 13 are on located on the golf course. Servicing and paving of the extension of Crown Isle is now complete.
Prices of the off-course lots, start at approximately $195,000 and the on-course lots start at approximately $269,900.
Once the majority of the lots in this phase have been sold, Crown Isle Homes will begin to plan on continuing the extension of Crown Isle Drive to connect with Norfolk, which connects with Idiens Way. This new phase could be under construction as of this fall or early spring of next year.
